Step 1: Understanding Your Starting Point
The Vista V3 comes with the Toddler Seat, which is suitable from 3 months and up. To use your Vista from birth, simply pair it with the Mesa Infant Car Seat, add the Bassinet, or add an Infant SnugSeat accessory, each sold separately. What you’ll need to turn it into a double depends on the ages of your children and how you plan to stroll.
Step 2: Exploring Your Combinations
The Vista offers over 30 configurations to accommodate your family’s needs from newborn days to toddlerhood and beyond! Here are a few popular setups:
- Toddler Seat + RumbleSeat
- Toddler Seat + Bassinet
- Bassinet + Bassinet (twins!)
- With or without the PiggyBack board
Pro Tip: The Vista is a smart investment that grows with your family. Whether you’re planning for one, two, or more, it adapts to every stage, saving you money, space, and the hassle of upgrading down the road!

Step 3: Choosing the Right Second Seat Option
Here are your key options based on your children’s ages and needs:
RumbleSeat:
The most common way to convert the Vista into a double is with our RumbleSeat. The RumbleSeat attaches to the lower part of the frame and is perfect for a second child (up to 35 lbs and 36” tall) with the included Toddler Seat on the top.
You’ll need:
- RumbleSeat (includes adapters and bumper bar)
- Pro tip: The RumbleSeat is slightly smaller than the Toddler Seat by design! To maintain proper weight distribution and make your stroller easier to push and maneuver, your younger, smaller child should always ride in the RumbleSeat on the bottom, while your older, heavier child belongs in the Toddler Seat up top.

Mesa Infant Car Seat:
Our parent-favorite Mesa infant car seat connects directly to the Vista, making it a great option for newborn + toddler setups.
You’ll need:
- Mesa Infant Car Seat (Connects directly to the Vista if using as a single)
- Upper Adapters (if using with the RumbleSeat on the bottom)
Bassinet + Toddler Seat
For a newborn + toddler pairing, the Bassinet can be used in the lower position with the Toddler Seat above. You’ll need:
Bonus: The Bassinet is suitable for overnight sleep, so it’s perfect for travel or around the house with the Bassinet Stand.
Step 4: Adding Adapters for Flexibility
- Upper Adapters: Raise the Toddler Seat/Infant Car Seat to make room for the RumbleSeat in the lower position
- Lower Adapters: Secure the second Infant Car Seat or Bassinet in the lower position
- RumbleSeat Adapters: Included with the RumbleSeat for use on the bottom only
- Pro-Tip: All of our adapters are color-coded and intuitive, making setup simple!
You’re Ready To Stroll!
Your stroller is one of your biggest gear investments, and the Vista was built to adapt. Whether you’re planning ahead for a growing family or managing the day-to-day with multiple kids, converting your Vista into a double keeps things simple, stylish, and streamlined.
